A few years ago, I conducted extensive research and interviewed some of Canada’s leading dermatologists for a magazine article I wrote on adult acne. It was through this investigation that I first learned of light therapy treatments – a subject of particular interest to me on account of my long-term battle with acne. As far as remedies go, I had tried them all – prescriptive medications, natural and herbal remedies, over the counter treatments, exfoliation, heat, hormonal pills, and Accutane™ – all of which were largely ineffective for my problem-skin. When I was given the opportunity to test Tända Clear – the first at-home light therapy deemed safe and effective by Health Canada – I was excited. I found the weight, size, and shape of the device to be both easy to use and effective – I could feel my acne wounds healing under the skin’s surface. With Tända, you could actually see visible results in my before and after photos. Although I was using Tända to treat my acne, I also noticed the fine lines I have around my mouth looked much less pronounced after 30 days. As a long time acne sufferer, I was initially skeptical of the Tända Clear device – a product designed to combat acne and wrinkles through the use of blue and red light therapy. I tested Tända Clear for about a month, and although my skin is still producing acne, the device has significantly reduced the rate of reoccurrence and the development of new blemishes on my skin. I was also happy to find that the weight, size, shape and portability of Tända Clear were exceptionally well-designed. After using Tända Clear I’ve noticed a definite difference in the texture of my skin – it feels smoother, and it is not as red from the scars. After my experience with the product, I’ve recommended Tända Clear to family and friends who suffer from acne.
